After earning rave reviews for her sensitive performance in Omkara, Kareena Kapoor is now wowing everyone with her sensuous dance number in the promos of Don, a remake of Chandra Barot’s 1978 action-packed thriller.

Kareena does a delightful and seductive dance on the lines of the Helen number "Ye mera dil pyaar ka deewana" says NDTV. Shahrukh Khan plays the title role in the Farhan Akhtar-directed remake, slated to hit theatres on Diwali.

"Though my role is small it’s important. It’s great playing Helen aunty’s role, and the song has been especially great fun," Kareena has been quoted as saying.

"It’s been the best experience of my life. The song is now mine. It’s a legendary track and dancing on to it with SRK has been an absolute dream come true. Yeh mera dil will be an enriching part of my career," she added.

Kareena has more good news. She has been chosen for the Smita Patil Memorial Award for her contribution to Indian cinema by the Priyadarshini Academy, an NGO.

Katrina Kaif's Laced Skirt Raises Eyebrows At Shrine

Ajmer, Khadims (servers) and devotees at the shrine of Khwaja Moinuddin Chisti have strongly objected to Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif appearing at the shrine in a laced skirt which showed off more of her shapely legs than convention allowed.

A large of people who were offering their prayers at the shrine said that the actress should have come there in more appropriate attire, rather than in a western outfit that revealed her legs.

"The people who come here should stick to the rules maintained by devotees. This is how our progenies know about our age old traditions and customs that we follow. Violators should not enter here," said Syed Julfikar, a member of Khwaja Chisti's shrine.

"The people, irrespective of their status, should maintain the decorum of the place, which they are going to visit," said Abdul Bani, another member of the shrine.

Kaif had come to the shrine with another actor Rishi Kapoor to shoot for producer-director Vipul Shah's Bollywood flick Namaste London.
